The EA888 Gen 3 1.8 TSI shares its core architecture with the 2.0 TSI but with a smaller bore and different turbo packaging. It powers the VW Golf MK7 1.8T, Audi A3 8V 1.8 TSI, Passat B8 1.8 TSI, Seat Leon FR, and Skoda Octavia and Superb Mk3 1.8 TSI variants. Blaze upgrades for the 1.8 TSI platform include AToM PRO (76mm inlet) and AToM RACE (100mm inlet) cold air intakes, MQB turbo inlet pipes in both diameters, the MQB charge pipe kit, turbo flanges, and the bar-and-plate intercooler that fits both 1.8 and 2.0 TSI cars.
