How do I know if I have the DAZA engine?
DAZA is the engine code for the 2017–2020 RS3 8V.1 (pre-facelift) and 2017+ TTRS 8S. The engine code is stamped on the cam cover and listed in your VIN decode under engine designation. If you have a 2020.5+ RS3 with the 8V.2 facelift body, you likely have the newer DNWA engine and this part won’t fit.

Does it fit my RS3 8Y or facelift 8V.2?
No — both use the newer DNWA engine which has different exhaust routing.

Do I need a tune?

We have a fresh take on our renowned AToM Race air intake system, re-imagined specifically for the engine requirements of the Audi RS3 and TTRS 2.5T EVO MK3.

We have optimised the design of the air inlet duct to maximise airflow into the air intake tract. This gets air in through the grille and past the slam panel to increase airflow whilst reducing resistance. In conjunction with the strategically placed rubber seal, the design mitigates the intake of air from the hotter under-bonnet area, thus ensuring optimal ram air effect.

The system guides the air into a high-flow 120mm/4.7-inch reverse-mounted cone filter. Its unique inverted cone design allows for peak engine breathing and unparalleled performance.

Further enhancing the AToM Race RS’s efficiency, the cone filter is housed within a 160mm/6.3-inch air accumulator. Doubling as a heat shield, it navigates and shapes the air as it exits through a 100mm/4-inch outlet.

The AToM Race RS air intake system is designed to ensure minimal flow resistance, maximum ram effect, and isolation of engine air from the airflow path.

• Full-Width, Stepped Back Air Guide: The air guide catches air from both grille inlet ducts without blocking them. This minimizes turbulence as air rushes into the grille, allowing it to pass smoothly. The duct seals against the hood, creating a large clean space for air to enter and be guided into the 120mm filter inlet for maximum ram air effect.
• Reverse Mounted, Washable, Reusable 120mm (4.7″) Dry Cotton Filter: This large diameter filter inlet minimizes resistance to flow, providing a huge mouth for air entry. The shaped filter outlet ensures air exits as smoothly as possible.
• 100mm (4″) Outlet heat shield: Sealed inside a powder-coated aluminium case, the air filter shields against hot air from the engine bay. This provides a large volume for air accumulation, and a 100mm (4″) outlet ensures high-volume airflow.
