If you are moving this intercooler onto an older EA113 car — Mk5 GTI, Audi S3 8P, etc. — the core itself bolts straight into the radiator support, but you may need different silicone transition hoses to map to the EA113 turbo discharge and throttle body pipes. Contact us before ordering if you are unsure which engine you have.</p>
<p style="margin:0;"><strong>Core depth &#038; AC condenser clearance:</strong> On some chassis (notably Audi TT 8J and VW Tiguan 5N), tighter bumper skin and AC condenser clearance may require slight trimming of the plastic radiator shroud or core support to seat thicker upgraded cores. Most Golf platform installs are direct-fit with no trimming.</p>
